The Dolomites are one of those rare places where the whole family can share an adventure that feels truly extraordinary. Imagine soaring above UNESCO-listed peaks, gliding over pine forests and alpine meadows, with your children grinning from ear to ear. That is exactly what our zipline at Adrenaline Adventures in San Vigilio di Marebbe delivers.
Why the Dolomites Are Perfect for Families
San Vigilio di Marebbe is a naturally family-friendly village. Quiet, green, surrounded by gentle hiking trails and playgrounds, it has been welcoming families for generations. Our zipline experience fits right into this setting — an activity that brings parents and children together for a shared rush of adrenaline.
No athletic ability required. No previous experience needed. Just a willingness to have fun together.
Age and Weight Requirements
The zipline is open to children with no strict minimum age, but there is a key weight requirement:
- Minimum weight: 25 kg
- Maximum weight: 120 kg
- Supervision: every child must be accompanied by at least one paying adult
No previous experience is required. Children who meet the weight requirement can participate in complete safety. Our staff assesses each participant individually before departure.
What should kids expect? Children love the preparation phase — putting on the harness and helmet makes them feel like real explorers. The flight itself is smooth and controlled: no sudden jerks, no unexpected drops.
Safety First — Always
As parents ourselves, we understand that safety is your number one concern. It is ours too.
- CE-certified equipment, inspected and maintained daily
- Double harness system with redundant carabiners
- Professional guides specifically trained to work with children
- Dedicated family safety briefing with age-appropriate explanations
- Reduced guide-to-participant ratio for groups with children
Staff are stationed at every intermediate platform. You are never alone. Learn more on our Safety page.

What Kids Love Most
Our young adventurers go wild for the speed (up to 80 km/h!), the launch moment from the platform, and the bird's-eye views of the Dolomites. Many of them say it feels "like flying like a bird." The course takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes with breaks at the platforms — just the right length to keep children engaged without wearing them out.
Tips for Parents
Frame the adventure as a game: your kids are sky explorers! Show them a few photos or videos beforehand so they know what to expect. And remember — if the parents are excited, the kids will be too.
