There is something special about watching thousands of people launch themselves into the void above a Dolomite valley. Every flight is unique: some scream, some laugh, some cry with joy, some fall silent, captivated by the beauty. 2026 has been a year brimming with emotion on our zipline, and we want to share with you the ten moments that moved us most — the ones that remind us why we do this work.
1. The Busiest Day of the Year
15 August — Ferragosto, Italy's midsummer holiday — broke every record. In a single day, 127 people flew on the zipline. The queue was long, but the atmosphere was electric: entire families, friend groups, couples, solo travellers. Everyone united by adrenaline and laughter. Our team worked from 8 in the morning until 7 in the evening, and at the end of the day we were tired but deeply happy.
2. The Youngest Flyer
In June, an 8-year-old girl flew with her father on the tandem zipline. The video shows her with a smile that fills her entire face, arms spread like a bird, shouting "Again! Again!" at landing. Her father, behind her, had tears in his eyes. "I have never seen her so happy," he told us afterwards. Moments like these remind you that the zipline is for all ages.
3. The Most Experienced Flyer
In September, an 82-year-old gentleman arrived at the launch point with a determination that would put a twenty-year-old to shame. "I survived a war, climbed mountains, crossed oceans. A zipline certainly does not scare me." He flew with regal calm, greeting the valley like a king from his flying throne. At landing, he asked: "Can I go again?"
Our zipline is accessible to people aged 6 to 85+, weighing between 25 and 120 kg. No special skills or fitness level are required. To learn more about requirements, see our safety guide.
4. The Largest Group
A German pharmaceutical company brought 68 people for a team building event with the zipline as the crowning moment. Organising 68 flights was a logistical challenge our team handled with precision. The best moment: when the last participant landed and the entire group erupted in spontaneous applause.
5. The Most Emotional Moment
In July, a man flew the zipline for the first time after a year of rehabilitation following an accident. "The doctors told me I would never walk again. Today I fly." Our staff could not hold back the tears. That flight was not just adrenaline — it was a symbol of rebirth, strength, and refusal to give up.
6. The Perfect Weather Day
21 September. Crystal-clear sky, temperature of 18 degrees, unlimited visibility. The Dolomites were as sharp as we had ever seen them: every spire, every wall, every shade of grey and pink perfectly defined. The flyers that day had a view that seemed like a hyperrealist painting. Someone said: "It looks like a dream too beautiful to be real."
7. The Record for Nationalities in One Day
On 3 August we recorded flyers from 14 different countries in a single day: Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, Japan, Australia, South Africa and Iceland. The Dolomites zipline as a meeting point for the world — an idea we love deeply.
If you want to experience the zipline with less waiting, the best periods are June and September: weather conditions are excellent, panoramas spectacular and queues shorter. Check our article on the best season to plan ahead.
8. The Marriage Proposals
2026 saw three marriage proposals on the zipline. The most memorable: he flew first and at landing pulled out the ring, kneeling just as she landed. She did not immediately understand what was happening — the adrenaline was still too high — then she realised and began crying with joy. Our entire staff applauded. If you are considering something similar, read our article on proposing on the zipline.
9. Unforgettable Team Building Moments
We watched CEOs with a fear of heights fly to set an example, colleagues who never spoke laugh together for the first time, and entire teams discover new energy after sharing the adrenaline. The team building stories of 2026 are the finest chapter of our year.
10. The Sunset Flight
The last flight of the day, when the sun dips behind the peaks and the light turns golden and pink. Those who fly at sunset live an experience different from all others: the silence is deeper, the colours more intense, the moment more intimate. The most beautiful sunset of 2026? 14 September, when the Dolomites turned an intense pink that seemed unreal. Those who were there will never forget it.
Thank You All
Behind every number is a person. Behind every flight is a story. 2026 gave us thousands of smiles, hundreds of tears of joy, dozens of incredible photos and a confirmation: adventure has the power to transform. It transforms fear into courage, strangers into friends, an ordinary day into a memory that lasts forever.
Thank you to everyone who flew with us in 2026. See you in 2027 — with new records to break and new stories to live.
